Pregnancy Week 29

Pregnancy Week:  29
Weight Gain:  19 pounds
Baby Kicks:  Mystery fetus likes to dance at 4 am.  Good times.
Mental Health:  Why, hello 3rd trimester anger!  Welcome to the party!

So...after 29 weeks I finally learned how to turn the flash off on my camera.  (You're welcome.)

I just look FAT.  I do not look pregnant.  I do not have a round little basketball-esque baby bump.  It's all spread out and wide and I look like I suddenly gained 50 pounds of spare tire.

Look at my meaty fingers!  I could kill a man with my bare hands and powerful forearms.  GRRRR!

I know I've *only* gained 19 pounds, and I should be kicking up my heels with pure joy at that number.  But the truth is, I hate being pregnant.  The best thing about my body is a curvy hourglass figure!  I'm not the girl with thin, gorgeous legs--I have man calves that no boot will ever contain.  I'm not willowy thin--I have boobs and a butt.  So when my waist explodes...boobs, butt, and man calves combine to equal ONE HOT MESS.

If I were wearing spandex and a really bad sports bra, I could be on The Biggest Loser.

The worst part?  I still have 10 more weeks to go!

Trust me.  I'm not that glowing, happy woman contentedly stroking her belly and purring about how she's never felt this good in her life!  *squee*  I'm the woman floating miserable in the bathtub, watching her belly move and ripple with each baby kick and muttering, "Ugh, that is so gross.  I want my body back!"

I'm pretty sure I could have written that post when I was pregnant! Also, I thought I was the only chic on the planet that had calves the size of venus that no cute boot would cover. Good to know I'm not alone.

My Husband is practically beggggging to have another one and I'm still "on the fence". Pregnancy was just awful for me, but you know what? You DO look adorable and you DO look pregnant =)

You look pregnant to me!

I absolutely HATED pregnancy and felt the same way you do - I kept waiting for that cute bump and totally just felt fat instead.

I think you look really pretty & you do actually look pregnant. I have yet to experience being pregnant but it sort of creeps me out to know that there will be something living & moving around in there someday. That sounds really mean...I hope that changes, ha ha.

You look how I looked when I was pregnant, only smaller.

And I totally understand where you are coming from. The only good thing about being pregnant is the boobs.

I despised being pregnant. I would like to say that all those women who claim it is great are lying, but they are probably just freaks. That is my story, at any rate, and I am sticking to it.

As a fellow, let say, not thin gal, I think you look pretty darn good.

The countdown begins, sure you have ten weeks to go, but really more like six to eight before you can start driving yourself with crazy home remedies to induce labor! (That was meant to he helpful, but it just sounds kind of depressing...sorry, that it pregnancy for ya I guess.)

Mine looks like I ran through a lightening field, I swear all these girls take any little bit of loveliness you had going for ya, at least for me. And this kid better have a gut of steel considering I up chuck at the drop of a dime... Can ya tell I am on board, I dont love being pregnant, but its worth the baby in the end bandwagon? Lots of luck for a quick 10 weeks!

I think you look very pregnant...and beautiful. You have a very maternal glow...and I think most women, by week 29 or so, want their bodies back. I did. I would not take anything for my daughter...it was the part getting there that I like to forget.

You look pregant and your hair looks great!

My guess....it's a boy.

And I hated pregnancy, too. I think I enjoy about 6 weeks of it...then I was ready for it be over and done with. Did you know that I can make my belly button smile now because of all my saggy post-preggo skin? I entertain myself in the bathroom mirror and it makes hubby shake his head and walk out. :P

I loved being pregnant, once I wasn't puking. I also never gained weight, strangely enough. My ass disappeared as my belly grew. I looked weird, which I believe was just as bad (or worse) than gaining weight.

You look pregnant; give yourself a break! Everybody's bodies are different, and thats just a part of the way God made us! I love it, and Im ready to do it again (although; I think my husband will NOT be on board for baby #5)

I actually think you look beautiful in that picture! Your hair is super glossy, your skin looks really clear, and you DEFINITELY look pregnant not fat.

I haven't been pregnant yet but (although I do want kids) I have to confess the concept as a whole pretty much terrifies me.
