So. Here I am. BEFORE.
*Notice the I'm-fat-therefore-depressed pout. It's a must in Fatty Lardo before pics.
**I took this on my patio because every room of my house is dirty. It was just easier to take the mirror outside. How sad is that?
***Taking a picture in a mirror is lame, but do you want to say to your husband, "Hey, will you take my Before picture? Make sure you catch my muffin top!"
Instead of tangible goals with numbers that will horrify all the anorexics out there, I'm breaking it down into Life Moments. (You won't catch me throwing my number on the internet! Puh-lease!)
Pre-Elodie Jaci: 5 pounds
Pre-Elizabeth Jaci: add another 15 pounds
Happy Jaci: add another 15 pounds
Wedding Jaci: add another 20 pounds
Skinny Whore Jaci: add another 10 pounds
Skinny Whore Jaci has been retired. Unless I come down with cancer or luck out with a tape worm, she'll always be a fond memory. Along with college. And clubs. And sleeping naked until 2 pm on a Saturday.
Wedding Jaci would be nice to hit, but honestly? I'm not giving up wine and peanut butter cups to do it.
So. Happy Weight is 35 pounds away. Can I do it in 3 months on NutriSystem? Stay tuned...
Disclaimer: NutriSystem is not paying me or giving me free food or doing anything to help a blogger out. I asked them and they ignored me. Boo. Boooooo. My blog is small and weak.

I did read a blog that did the nutrisystem, they gave it to her for free...anyhow, that's the point where her blog started to suck- so I stoped reading. Anyhow, point is she got it for free. Good luck with the prepacked food. I think I'll stick to my muffin top vs. cardboard meals.
Good luck!
I'm still whining over having almost absolutely nothing that fits.
I am really interested to see how Nutrisystem works for an actual person. The idea that all the choices are made seems like it would be the best option for those of us who will always choose cheesecake over carrots, but you know, those infomercials can be a bit, shall we say, misleading.
Good luck! I bet we see skinny Jaci before we know it!
Good luck. I did NutriSystem for 6 months. I mostly stuck to the diet. I lost 20 lbs in that time with no exercising, but as soon as I stopped eating their foods I gained it all back plus some. I hope you have better luck than I did. I'm thinking about trying it again now that I'm going to the gym.
Good luck with the NutriSystem - be sure to tell us if it sucks or not! I'm curious to know (I've never known anyone who's tried it before).
Best of luck!
This is going to be some great blog following! Can't wait. Good luck!
I have seriously wondered if you can purchase a few tapeworm snacks...hmmm.
You go girl! I too will never post numbers, but I will be interested to see if this helps motivate you. We can all learn from you on this.
GOOD LUCK!!!!
I lost 35 lbs in roughly 3 months on Nutrisystem - it's totally doable if you stick to the plan & pepper in some exercise. You can do it!
good luck! i have about 30 pounds to my "happy lora" weight as well...but another 20 past that to my "REALLY happy lora" weight :)
For the record, you look great, even with 35 lbs. to go to your "Happy Weight" and that silly pout.
Good Luck!!! With ya every step of the way. I've got about 20lbs to lose before I reach my drop-dead-gorgeous-physique :)
My wife followed the nutri-system plan for about 4 months or so and lost 36 pounds (I think that was the final tally). The bears they send you at milestones are so CUTE!! Anyway, I tried some of the stuff and I would argue the cardboard moniker applied to the food. Some are a wee bit funky/weird, most are quite good.
Best of luck on your efforts Jaci!!
I am doing the Jenny Craig thing (which I understand are about the same) and I want to lose a minimum of 30 lbs. I have lost 8 pounds in 4 weeks and the food isn't bad at all. Good luck, sister! You just got a huge FREE gift. My food is about $20 per day!
Hey, Jaci~ I was watching Glee last night and guess who was listed as director for the episode? ELODIE Keene. Thought you'd like to know.
Renee
Good luck! Hope your munchkin is doing well, actually; I hope YOU"RE doing well!
I want a tape worm, too.....
bet we can find them on ebay!!
I'd tell you you look great, but if you are like me, you are thinking .. whatever.
My youngest is 6 months old. I have 15 lbs to lose. Why is that soooooooooooooooo hard to do?
I have always wondered if Nutrisystem would work for me.. Cuz in your terms I also need about 35 pounds to get to happy pinkflipflops!!
As the saying goes, "When there is the will, there is a way." I'm sure you can do it if you really put your mind into it. :)
I like your math a lot. And thank you for not putting your number up. Numbers don't give the right information.
